Unlucky Holland misses out at Watford

Nathan Holland – great vision and defence splitting runs

Brilliant Hammers prospect Nathan Holland has been ruled out of action until February with a ruptured hamstring but has successfully undergone surgery.

It’s a real tragedy for the teenager who would have been very much in line to take a place on the right side of midfield against Watford given the lack of options in that area this weekend.

The youngster has been seriously impressive on Under 23 duty this season and is well known to assistant boss Alan Irvine from their days at  Goodison Park.

ClaretandHugh was told this morning that the youngster would have been in with a chance  for the weekend but instead will be starting his recovery programme.

Holland received the injury during training and we understand that another impressive young Iron Josh Pask has also been hit with a similar problem.

That will make him unavailable for Friday night’s match at the London Stadium against Derby and a busy week which follows involving games against Benfica, Arsenal and a Checkatrade Trophy tie against Wycombe Wanderers..

  1. There is too much rubbish on this site recently . I am only interested in our next game .
The media circus has to be stopped . Let the Team & Manager sort it out .
I need to buy my girlfriend a bottle of wine and pay this weeks rent , so , I’ll write any rubbish to get a wage ….

  2. I feel for him seems upbeat after surgery went well but he is natural talented tho didn’t see him taking over at RW. Think maybe bench spot.

Just hope he gets well & comes back strong def has potential to be future First teamer
