Update on Felipe Anderson

Reports that the Felipe Anderson deal to West Ham is close to completion or that he is on a plane to London have been described as ‘Not true’ by a club insider this evening.

Media speculation is rife both in the UK and Italy that a deal between the two clubs has been reached and the Brazilian playmaker is about to hop on a plane to London to complete a medical.

Those rumours have been described as premature tonight, Claret and Hugh understand that West Ham remains interested in the midfielder but has yet to agree on an acceptable transfer fee with Lazio. His wage demands are said to be £80,000 per week but unless a deal can be reached with the Italian the personal terms are immaterial.

Last season Anderson scored 8 goals and chipped in with 10 assists for Lazio in 32 matches in all competitions.

  1. Problem is that Sullivan can’t get big deals over the line and someone will come in and grab him and the queue the excuses again. You want to break in to that top 6 then show us the that you mean it, you now have the manager but he needs the players and they will cost!!!

  2. Starting to feel like the Carlos Bacca thing all over again

  3. Same old what is it with getting deals done ..so what have they actually been doing for the last 2 weeks ..it really is pathetic they just refuse to pay up.. and Lazio will pull the plug soon …and someone else will gladly pay close to what they want and will gazump u s
