Are we looking for a new Keeper because my good Lady said she could have saved both of those goals,
Arsenal will be shooting from the half way line,
But lizy the Argie looks a good player,
I didn’t watch this game but on the video it looks as though both shots should have been saved but also that no one in the back four closed down the attackers, this has been the pattern in every match I have watched either in the stadium or on TV, we will ship in goals if that doesn’t change fast, its great putting pressure on the ball in midfield and up top pressing high up the pitch and we should continue to do that but when players are floating around the area outside the 18 yard box looking to get a shot off, the back line needs to close them down and block shots. As a defender Bilic must know this, perhaps because its pre-season he has told them not to, to minimise any risk of injury… I certainly hope so.
No its just because we have a useless defense.Tomkins,Reid,Umbongo,Jenks,Collins,Cresswell.All rubbish.Not worthy of being prem players.Well that is what is to be believed if you read forum wise men.Midfield absolutely chronic,forwards terrible.Adrian,worse goalkeeper in the prem.Slav,terrible manager.All the new transfers overpriced & not good enough for league one.Coach driver should never have a license to drive.Programme sellers far too slow.Pitch far too green.Goal posts far too white.Crossbar far too wobbly.Dont know why we are going to bother playing in the Prem this season,just drop us straight into the Championship,that should please all the moaning,doom & gloom b*stards on here!! 😉
It has been a downward spiral this last week Rads.New season starts soon,it wouldnt be natural if people on forums didnt have breakdowns,haha.Maybe they should go on holiday,paint the house,build a shed.Might stop them being on here being so grumpy.Wouldnt mind if they understood football but some seem like they would know more about netball,the moaning bunch of girls 😉
I find myself visiting sites less & less.The negativity is incredible.I chat with friends in the ‘real world’ & fans understand that there is going to be a transitional period.You come on to forums & everything is doom.Seems some people only come on to sites to air negative opinions.
Ignore the negativity Twinkle Toes, its all meaningless until we start the League and have an appropriate view of where we are as a team, the negativity in my post had nothing to do with teh personnel who I think are the best squad we have had in a long time, neither that or the style of play which offensively (with the ball and without the ball) is good, it is defensively in a lot of the games I have watched we are not doing the basics and this is allowing opponents to get off shots and create pressure particularly on our back five. Closing down the ball and the opposing players if done properly, forces the opponent to adjust and to move and this can create space and opportunities to springboard attacks from or in most cases just denies them a goal scoring chance.
