Seguíamos con todo 💪🏼

A post shared by Manuel Lanzini (@manulanzini) on

Lanzini has shown his Instagram followers his efforts on his rehabilitation by posting a video of him doing exercises on his injured knee.

He is recovering from surgery by Dr Ramon Cugat on his torn anterior cruciate ligaments under the supervision of West Ham’s new head of medical, Richard Collinge.

Lanzini became injured in the warmup to World Cup explaining: “I received a pass from Marcos Rojo and tried to give it to Javier Mascherano who was behind me. When I turned, I didn’t set my foot firmly on the ground and all my weight fell on my knee. I knew instantly that it was going to be very bad.”

At end of last month, Lanzini took to social media dispel reports he would be out for over a year saying “The surgery went really well. Although I don’t want to set a date, I expect to be ready to play at the beginning of 2019, that’s my goal for the next months.

“Thank you all for your support.”
