West Ham are favourite’s to land Man City striker

KelBookies have slashed odds that Kelechi Iheanacho could join West Ham in the upcoming summer transfer window making the Hammers the overnight favourite’s to sign him.

The 20-year-old is 5/4 with Bookmakers Ladbrokes to make the Hammers his next club, Liverpool 5/1 Everton 11/2, with Southampton 7/1, Stoke are at 8/1 and Spurs at 10/1.

Nigeria international Iheanacho is under contract until 2021 but City are said to be prepared to listen to offers of around £20m, to help finance their spending plans for the summer.

Iheanacho’s opportunities at City have been limited under Pep Guardiola and although he has made 19 appearances for City this season, he has started only five matches. He has scored four goals and made three assists, despite completing only one full game.

The previous campaign, when Manuel Pellegrini was in charge, was more fruitful with Iheanacho scoring 14 goals in 35 games. Iheanacho is said to have become frustrated at City, and could look to move on in the summer. The Nigerian international has slipped down the pecking order with Pep Guardiola’s side since Gabriel Jesus’ arrival in January.

  1. He is a super young prospect.A City fan who lives near me is really despondent that he might leave.Im surprised he could be leaving as the City fans think the world of him.
Guardiola has so much fire power to choose from and im sure he will bring more in so you can see him leaving.
Can we attract him though. This old bugger hopes so lol

  2. He is pretty raw but has the attributes to be a good player, pace, physicality and he can score goals. Let’s be honest if you had Jesus and Aguerro you wouldn’t be playing this kid so it is in his interests to go where he will get a lot of games. Where we are he may prove to be an astute buy, definitely not a marquee signing and it is those that Bilic wants, star quality not potential but would be a typical Dave’s signing.

  3. I wonder if we bid £50m for Martial would Utd let him go and more to the point would he come to us, Mourinho doesn’t rate him it would seem and he probably doesn’t see us as opposition so I would try everything to get him on loan or permanently, then we would have a marquee signing. Nkoudou and Jannsen hardly play for Spuds so try and sign them also, they would fill two of the problem positions and as mentioned previously go all in for Nolito, Bilic is known to like him and he is a star player in any team other than City’s.

While they are about it they could chat to Alisher Usmanov to take over at the helm, he just had a £1 billion offer rejected by Kroenke at Arsenal, he can trade in his Arsenal shares to either of the Davids and become a majority shareholder at West Ham then he can ruin Kroenke’s Arsenal and make us all happy in the process COYI !!!

  4. I think No 32 has had a few too many?? Nkoudou and Jansen definitely not. Nolito maybe but i agree with Steve, stay well away from those sneaky Russian bar stewards!!

Would definitely have Iheanacho alongside Batshuayi. Maquee signing and one for the future.

  5. I think if i mentioned on here a show i saw on Usmanov and his shady character the site might be getting a call from his lawyers so i wont lol

Having said that football supporters in the main dont care where the money comes from as long as it brings success.

  6. Iheanacho has not proven himself and why would we consider spending another 20 m on a another player like Ayew and who will not bring us to the next level. I really am worried when we are linked with players like this. I fear for us if Bilic is reckoming this player – if he was any good City would not let him go.
