West Ham go over the top on wages

West Ham United Unveil New Signing XXXWest Ham have increased their wage bill by £11m per season despite releasing over £18m of wages per season in outbound and loan players. Ten of our new signings will cost nearly £24m per season in wages but that is only a £5.5m net increase when you factor in those who have left, left at the end of loans or who have gone out on loan this season.

Payet, Adrian, Antonio, Cresswell, Randolph have all penned new contracts over the summer said to be worth an additional £5.5m of wages combined this season.

andreayew726West Ham are thought to have gone over their Financial Fair Play limit of £64m limit for this season but this will be permitted under the rules when they add in extra sponsorship deals recently concluded and new income. A new deal with Betway is said to be worth £10m per year plus other new commercial sponsorship deals at the London Stadium which should balance the books when it comes to wage limits imposed by the Premier League.

West Ham are allowed to raise their players wage bill by an automatic £4m this season but by our calculations it has risen by £11m with the extra £7m covered by increase in income after our move to the London Stadium.

  1. Are we sure about these wages. Gokhan Tore on £60k a week?
How much are we paying Nobes and Antonio?

  2. Sometimes all we ever hear is ffp this and ffp that….im 100% sure that the 2 daves have made sure we wont exceed it …they are both extremely successful business men shrewd enough not to be caught out by something so obvious ….they have done a excellent job with transfers so im happy but im sure there might be one or 2 that arent ….you can please some of the people some of the time but not all ,all of the time….COYI!!!!

  3. Wonder how many other clubs are as honest as ours because I can’t believe Palace Spuds Leicester Manure City Chelski have not gone over their limit,
Never mind if we are not quite there just don’t play Payet that saves us lots of money,
Send Tore home that will crack it.
I am sure we will be loaning out more players yet

  4. Couldn’t care less, as long as we start winning. The higher up we finish the more prize money we get. Win the league & we’re sorted 😉

  5. Unfortunately as much as we love our Hammers we are not as big as we think we are. Hence great strikers knock us back. Also we don’t attract the massive sponsorship deals so therefor our FPL don’t increase as much this season. next year, with our increased income we might be able to. Be patient lads. 4 years ago we were staring relegation in the face. now, all of a sudden it’s “why ain’t we champions league” we would all love it but get real . nobody has ever made that big a jump and sustained it. COYI X

  6. can’t believe the figures ‘ tore is waste of money 60k week ? Best 2 signings fletcher on a free ‘ only 7k that’s taking the George worth 25k week all day long, masuaku looks class and is starting settle in nicely ( let’s hope the big hitters start performing ! Imagine payets pay packet Personally belief will finish mid-table this season. 13 players in total coming in is massive – need time to gel ” hope I’m wrong as a fan crave European football.

    • ….as an old fan….I crave survival. It’s so difficult to get out of our tradional way of thinking. Look at our attempt to qualify for the europa. The real West Ham is never far away.
