West Ham Player Awards – The Winners

Awards

slavIt is the night of the West Ham player awards at the London Hilton hotel in Park Lane, London. Hammers fan Ray Winstone has already been on stage singing a rendition of Bubbles and now Slaven Bilic has got up on stage to speak to the 1,000 guests paying up to £330 per head to be there tonight.

Slav told the audience  “I have loved this season. We expected it to be good. We knew we had potential. I spoke to my staff and with a bit of luck we knew we had a chance. Sam left me a good team and well organised squad. Beating Spurs at home was special. It is about the journey we have had. At the start we signed Dimi Payet and other good players. When you ask me the highlights there are so many. We beat some big teams at the start.I know we will do everything we can to win the final three games. The best moment for me was being so strong and solid. We didn’t look like we would get beat.

Claret and Hugh will bring you news of the winners as they are announced this evening so check back soon.

First West Ham award of the night up is the Best Team Performance which goes to the match against Everton away with that great come-back after being 2-0 down on 77 minutes but scoring three goals in 13 minutes to win the game 3-2.
