West Ham players taken down from London Stadium

screen

Work has already started to install a state of the art HD screen at the London Stadium. Construction workers have removed temporary fabric players containing West Ham players under the illuminated West Ham United sign in preparation for the installation of the massive TV screen.  This picture taken on Monday afternoon shows that the 12 metre fabric banners of Payet, Reid, Noble, Antonio and Kouyate have now been removed.

The high-definition (HD) screen, which will measure 83m wide by 12m high will be the largest TV screen in Europe. West Ham Vice Chairman, Karren Brady announced it would not be installed until the Sunderland game on 22nd October but now it appears it will be installed ahead of the original schedule.
The stadium wrap is thought to have cost £5m but a recent Freedom of Information request to the London Legacy Development Corporation revealed the costs would be spilt between stadium owners E20 Stadium LLP and West Ham United.

  1. Is it me, or whenever I close an advert on this site, it redirects me to the sellers website. I’m tolerant, but there’s only so many times I deem the content worthwhile.

  2. The adverts are plaguing me too. There’s one pop up thing I can’t get rid of. I have to close down the site and restart it each time.

  3. I’ve noticed the West Ham united illuminated sign is no longer illuminated as well. It’s like the club has been in mourning ever since the West Brom game.

  4. More cosmetics to cover up the ailing body beneath . Seems that priorities are being confused . Having the best stadium in the second division ( championship) is not a priority to be chasing .
Sorry if that sounded negative, but West Ham really do need to stick some dynamite up Thier backsides and light the fuse . Starting tomorrow night against Accrington .
I’m sure they will , well as sure as I can be considering Thier lack luster showing to date .
COY Hammers , show us your desire to improve and give us that fighting spirit that served so well last season . Not too much to ask , surely !.

  5. Most teams have a sh*t run during the season, lets hope we are getting ours out of the way early doors. I will admit there is something missing on the pitch so far, no fight or passion.

  6. ‘temporary fabric players’? Don’t chuck them away – put them in the first team. Oh dear, another Sean c,,k up. Wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to put up withe b….y adverts.

    • As soon as I see you have commented I already know all you have come here to do is knock the article or Sean.It really is f#cking boring reading your same old sh#t.
