West Ham striker target joins Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin have signed former West Ham striker target davieDavie Selke from RB Leipzig on a long-term deal.

The 22-year-old  International said on the club website “For me, Hertha are one of the biggest clubs in the Bundesliga, and I’m delighted the transfer has gone through, In the coming years, I want to do my bit to continue along the path they’re treading here and establish Hertha’s place in the upper echelons of the Bundesliga.”

Sky Sports claim we have been tracking Selke since last year and scouted him many times last season.

The transfer rumour re-surfaced two days ago when according to German Magizine Kicker. claimed that the player’s agent Akeem Adewunmi is said to be in the UK this week to try in an attempt to seal a deal to the Premier League for his client.

Swansea City and Everton had also scouted the player last season.  If he was included in this summer’s striker transfer long list I can’t imagine he was too close to the top.
