West Ham striker will be loaned to Turkey

calleri%cc%87Turkish website Fanatik claims Besiktas are very close to signing Jonathan Calleri on loan for the remainder of the season.

The article says Besiktas have made an agreement with Calleri’s holding club Deportivo Maldonado for €4m and now 23-year old is close to joining the Turkish club.

Besiktas’ president Fikret Orman is convinced that Calleri will be a good addition to his team. The 23-year-old, who netted 39 goals in 90 appearances over the last two seasons before arriving at West Ham, has represented Argentina at the U-23 level, scoring 1 goal in 3 appearances. The South American played 6 Premier League games for West Ham without scoring.
