West Ham are set to sign Arsenal youngster Tyrell Robinson on a permanent deal according to an Arsenal blog called arsenalyouth.wordpress.com
The 18-year-old, who can play at left-back or as a left winger, was absent from training at London Colney today and is set to conclude his move to the Hammers shortly says the blog. Robinson will sign a two year professional contract with West Ham.
Robinson progressed through Arsenal’s academy system before signing scholarship terms two years ago. He quickly went on to sign a professional deal, but came close to leaving Arsenal last season after falling out with coaching staff as he was frustrated at constantly being asked to play at left-back.
He featured for Arsenal at U21 level last season, while he was also involved in the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup, but he feels that he is much better suited to playing as a winger.
Robinson is close friends with George Dobson, who left the Gunners to join West Ham last year, and is thought to be encouraged by the opportunity on offer to him.
could prove to be a very good signing if he gets a fair chance of first team football
Take them all off these teams that snatched our young talent,
Batman to Chelski, money grabbing no European football where he is going, even if he does not go don’t go near him,
We want players that want to come to us, Remy must be available now on the cheap ?
