West Ham to stay in Europe

|

West Ham will remain in Europe for their pre-season and not have a long haul tour of the US, Middle East or Asia.

The world cup finals in Russia will not finish until Sunday 15th July in Moscow and with players having another two weeks rest they might not be released until the beginning of August.

The Hammers have used Austria and Germany as a base for the last two summers and David Moyes checked out the Austrian training camp which Slaven Bilic had previously used. Manuel Pellegrini will have the last say on where the Hammers go although club insiders have told us it won’t be Austria.

A senior source told Claret And Hugh “We staying in Europe at the moment, it is a mess with players late back from the World Cup, but some clubs will have bigger problems than us”
