Wikipedia lock Payet’s page

|

payetwiki2Wikipedia have locked down Dimitri Payet’s page on their online encyclopedia after it was continuously vandalised by West Ham fans in the last 24 hours. Pictures of snakes have been posted along with accompanying text to vent their anger on his refusal to train or play for West Ham. His name was changed to ‘Snake in my boot’ while saying it was an unprofessional football player who was not to be trusted.

Another picture entitled Payet out with his friends showed a very large snake amongst a crowd.

West Ham and stadium operators LS185 remain concerned that a similar fate may await the giant Payet shirt and sign with Lyrics to his song at the London Stadium. They are keen to avoid vandalism and disorder during tomorrow’s game against Crystal Palace and will today make a decision whether the signs are to be taken down or covered up to prevent them becoming a target for unhappy supporters.
