Wilshere/Hammers update

Jack Wilshere will not become a West Ham player this summer!

New speculation arose today that the Arsenal midfielder could be on his way to the London Stadium after appearing to drop a heavy hint to that effect on social media.

He dropped the name Arsenal from the description of himself on his personal bio and started following the Irons on Twitter suggesting he was on course for a cross-London switch.

But as has been the case so many times before it was met with a clear rebuttal from a top ClaretandHugh source inside the club.

Maybe Jack was trying to attract attention to the fact that he wants the move as may have been the case last year when he was reported as telling his agent to try to make it happen.

However, our source immediately slapped down any suggestion of the switch happening saying: “He has a long injury record and the wages are a bit silly. That won’t happen”

  1. Is your source the person known as exwhuemployee by any chance?

  2. I recon hes coming, bloody big hints if its a smokescreen. About time the club denys signings before they happen to stop being sniped. Best creative midfielder in the country and worth every penny of a free.
