Official: Zabaleta deal done

zabWest Ham have officially announced their first signing of the summer on WHUFC.com later today.

And it should come as no surprise that Pablo Zabaleta has signed a two-year contract after agreeing with the personal terms with the Hammers.

Zabaleta earned £90,000 per week at Manchester City and his total package with the Irons is said to be similar to land the 32-year-old right back.  His package is said to include a lower basic so not to break the current wage structure but is boosted by appearance fees plus performance related bonuses in a similar way that Payet’s wages were structured.

Zabaleta was offered to Serie A side AC Milan in the past few weeks but decided to move to the London Stadium instead.
