West Ham United have been linked with a move for Juventus forward Federico Chiesa, but the club have pulled out of the race due to the player’s high wage demands.

The Hammers are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer, and Chiesa was seen as a potential target. However, the Italian international’s £4.2 million annual wage demands have proved to be a stumbling block for the club.

West Ham have already spent £40 million on defender Max Kilman, and the club are not willing to break their transfer budget for Chiesa. The Hammers are now focusing their attention on other targets, as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes.

The Irons are still in talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of striker Niclas Fullkrug, and the Hammers are also close to signing Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

West Ham have a number of deals cooking as we look to strengthen our squad for the new season.
