Blackburn Rovers have put a price tag of £12 million on their striker Jordan Rhodes. The long list of clubs interested in signing Rhodes now reads: Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace, Swansea, Everton and supposedly West Ham.
Rovers bought Rhodes from Huddersfield for a club record £8 million back in 2012, Huddersfield inserted a 20% sell on fee clause.
The Hammers have been linked with the 25 year striker for more than 3 years with claims we once previously bid £3m to Huddersfield before he was sold to Blackburn, we were linked again the Summer of 2013 and last year.
Sam Allardyce was a long term admirer of Rhodes and it is claimed he tried to bring him to Boleyn Ground on a number of occasions. It remains to be seen whether Tony Henry and the board togetehr with any incoming manager see it the same way or whether this is just recycling of transfer news during the silly season.
Sell calamity Carroll and buy him.
Don’t be silly, they will only get 2 million and that includes a bonus of Nolan thrown in!.
Personally I don’t think he is good enough for the Premier. He can’t play but comes alive in the box and finishes well. That works in the Championship but not sure it does in EPL
I’m pretty sure we were linking to hernandez a few weeks ago. Great player who would offer goals! A proven finisher not given a chance in madrid if we could sign him we should do all we can! And with 2 weeks to go before they are back in training surely we should be looking at right back if as at the moment we have lost Jenks and Demel!
He is not worth £10 million let alone £12,
You can buy Remy off Chelski for less who is proven in the premier
Hernandez is valued at 16 million we could probably get him for £12 or £13 and again he has the pedigree,
Salami is quoted at €10 million which would be a better deal
Lastly if hippo liked him that’s enough for me to pull the plug
This guys is good but not good enough for me
