“£15M Bargain” | Wan Bissaka Far Exceeds Expectations

Without wishing to go overboard, I’m completely astounded at just how good Aaron Wan-Bissaka is. I know it’s early days, and I’m basing my limited opinions on a substitute appearance against Crystal Palace and starts against Bournemouth and Manchester City. However, I’m completely gobsmacked that the defender was allowed to leave Old Trafford and even more flabbergasted that Manchester United sold him to West Ham for £15m.

Based on what I’ve seen so far, AWB is a force of nature and already looks like a strong contender for Hammer of the Year if he continues as he’s started.

The former Crystal Palace graduate seems to be both the best right-back and left-back at the club and appears to be able to attack as well as he can defend, which is a totally unexpected turn of events.

So, well done to everyone at the club for pushing through a deal that was protracted and tricky at the best of times. I, for one, can’t wait to see him play again.

He was outstanding and hopefully the others will take note. Why can’t Todibo get a game, yet Mavrapanos and Coufal can? AWB, Kilman, Kudus, Summerville and Bowen look like they hate losing and I would leave Fabianski in for a few. Need a new LB.

    Agree with article.
Although he’s not normally associated as this versatile.
Coufal came on, Emerson went off and he switched to left back then moved on to left wing.
    Money well spent.
Does have some injury history which put Moyes off.
    Hope he stays fit.

If we can continue to play with the intensity and belief we showed today we will win a lot of matches

AWB and Kilman look outstanding mate. It appears Soucek isn’t un-droppable after all and we have a manger who isn’t afraid to change the system mid-game. Reasons to be cheerful eh. Can’t wait to see Soler now.
