Hammers v Forest: a closely contested history

West Ham United and Nottingham Forest have faced each other 118 times in various competitions since 1911. And theĀ  head-to-head record reflects a very closely contested history, with the hosts holding a narrow lead of 47 victories compared to the visitors’ 45, while 26 matches concluded in draws.

Closely contested history

In the previous season, both teams secured home victories in their two encounters within the Premier League. Meanwhile, however, the mighty Irons boast an undefeated streak in their last seven home meetings with Nottingham Forest and have achieved six victories in the process.

In Premier League match-ups, the hosts hold the advantage with five wins, while Nottingham Forest has secured two victories, and three games have concluded in draws.
