Around 5,000 season tickets will go on sale to the 55,000 waiting list today after the relocation window shuts.
The Hammers have modelled that approximately one in three on the season ticket waiting list will take up the offer to purchase season tickets meaning the first fifteen thousand in the list are likely to get an opportunity of a season ticket for next season. With the proposed capacity increase to 60,000 still on hold and in dispute, this might be the only opportunity those on the waiting list will get this coming season.
A senior source told Claret and Hugh earlier this month: “There will be under 5,000 seats for the waiting list, but we think the take up will be one in three so the first 15,000 should get seats. We are still pressing the stadium operators for more capacity, but they won’t apply at the moment”
Obviously my view is tinted by the fact I want an ST but I would be very surprised if it was more than 1 in 2 offered, this I base on the loyalty of West Ham fans and the demand for ST’s.
The other factor may be the seats on offer and the number together. As all season ticket holders have had two weeks to relocate these will be some of the worst seats.
Secondly, many of the seats on offer will be singles and some on the waiting list will want pairs or more.
We shall see.
What time does this happen?
I’d love to know what time this happens too
