Reports: Bilic set to “discuss future”

Slaven11Reports have emerged this morning that Slaven Bilic’s position is under review at West Ham and that he will meet the owners to discuss his future.

These are not far wide of the mark after the performance at Newcastle yesterday which left board members shocked at the terrifying performance of the team.

The Hammers looked shapeless and only Michail Antonio came out of the game with any real credit as the team shipped another three goals.

Now there is little question that Bilic’s position is the only issue on the agenda as the club goes into the international break.

The Mail reports that the Hammers boss is set for a meeting with the owners whilst Sky Sports News reported his position is now under review.

Meanwhile, in a ClaretandHugh poll launched last night on whether he should stay or go, over 2000 fans have voted with the majority claiming the time has now come to part company with the manager.

  1. just pay him up and move on to someone who knows what he is doing ! Missed out on Marco Silva don’t miss out on Tuchel.

  2. Personally I would demand carvalho and 2 centre halves and a creative m/ f 120 mill should cover it 😉 and change his backroom staff, jerkoffitch has a lot to do with this as well as bilic!!
We are a shambles , something has got to happen , what that is , is in the lap of the gods as they say,
Start by getting carvalho +,+,+ 😉
After what he did to rice yesterday he lost my support yesterday 😑

  3. **Putting on my tin-hat!**

‘My sources tell me’ that Steve McLaren is being lined up – I know he’s just taken a job in Israel but that’s only as a sort of ‘Football Consultant’.

Can you imagine the uproar if this actually happens!!

    • 😂😂 he don’t need a brolly there micky 😉 that should sway his decision coming here lol😂
Never going to happen unless they want to see an empty stadium 😂😂

    • Appointing Schteeve McClaren is the same as appointing Bruce or Bryan Robson these are managers with a track record of failing to deliver despite having at times huge resources, McClaren had an unbelievable team at Boro got them to a European final but nowhere in the league maybe even relegated ? Did nothing at Derby other than miss out on the open goal of automatic promotion, was second best to Bilic every time their teams met, please god don’t appoint him !!!

  4. Every time we leave it untill it’s too late it’s always too late . 🤔 Yeh , sounds right 🤕
If it’s going to happen it should happen now . Bilic and the Board should come to a mutual
Understanding and call it a day . There are 35 games left , let’s not leave it untill there are only 10 games left .

  5. The comments on this forum do not represent the view of any majority as far as what I see at matches. I really want Bilic to stay.
Bilic had a poor team with poor players and no forwards thrust upon him last year, and also,Payet and move problem – might be an excuse but I watched every week and we had absolutely nothing up front.
This summer we have made signings – but were soundly beaten at Man United.
At Southampton following Arnautovics stupid sending off the 10 men tried but came up short due to a last minute penalty – I thought it was a good performance.
Against Newcastle it would seem a real stinker.
If Bilic had a full team available and maybe the board stretched to sign Carvalho the team picked yesterday against Newcastle wouldn’t have all played – my view is that he would have wanted if available and fit -,Reid, Kouyate, Carroll, Arnautovic.
Noble, Rice, Collins and Fernandez wouldn’t have played.
This isn’t only about great players, management but a lack of having his best team available. So far this year. Also Obliang hasn’t started at the standard he was at most of last season.
