Jarrod Bowen will not be sold by West Ham under any circumstances, despite reports that Newcastle United are lining up a transfer move.
The reports emerging this afternoon suggest the Magpies are exploring new revenue streams following a restriction on their finances due to PSR rules.
Owned by a Saudi Arabian investment fund, Newcastle boasts the wealthiest backing in world football, yet they’ve struggled to fully utilise their financial power. However, they’re believed to still have funds for a major signing, after failing to secure Marc Guéhi during the summer transfer window.
Now, they’ve reportedly identified Guéhi’s England teammate Bowen, who is under contract at the London Stadium until 2030. The Hammers’ winger, who has been given the captain’s armband this season, is expected to thrive under any coach, even if Julen Lopetegui’s future at the club remains uncertain.
C&H has been informed on multiple occasions by club sources that Bowen is not for sale at any price—certainly not at the £70 million Newcastle allegedly values him at.
It would be far more likely that the rumoured interest in Mohammed Kudus resulted in a transfer although the club are not looking to offload the Ghanaian anytime soon.
West Ham travels to St. James’ Park on November 25th.
Bowen is untouchable. Kudus is untouchable as well but due to his discontent, over the loser mentality of the current manager, board and owner, he will demand to be moved on in January.
The interminable self inflicted wounds, created by this moronic ownership, are eroding the desire of supporters and players alike to give a tihs about this storied and beloved club. We all deserve to be rescued from this tortuous experience.
What say you Jellied Eel and rollercoaster hammer? 😉
Sully has made us a banter club again with this manager 🎪🤡
I like Bowen a lot but we should certainly sell if someone offers 70 million. That money allows us to buy easily 2-3 younger forwards or wingers from Championship clubs.
Can’t see him going to Newcastle tbh.
However, he won’t be getting called up by 🏴 for the World Cup 🏆 with us languishing just above the drop zone.
Bowen needs European football to keep him firmly in the mind of Tuchel. JLo won’t get us anywhere near the top 7 – we need to act swiftly as with the right manager we still have time to salvage this season. More importantly the new manager will get a couple of windows and more time to achieve success.
Loyalty and trust in JLo is highly misplaced.
We risk losing our ambitions players if we continue to keep faith – please Sully don’t leave it too late! 🙏
Unfortunately our new capatain has been, “ unable to thrive under any or this coach”, looks a shadow of his normal self
