CandH Playerwatch reporter Danny Leach put  Declan Rice under his spotlight as he makes his England debut against the Czech Republic after being a shining light in the Premier League for the Irons.

62 – He replaces  Alli as England lead 3-0

64: Gets his first touch when playing a simple one two with Ross Barkley clearly aimed at bringing him into the game

77 – Takes a heavy first touch sparking a Czech attack but nothing materializes

84: Set the team on their way with the first pass in a move which resulted in the own goal which gave the team their 5-0 win

90 – Drives forward with ball from midfield and with little options gives away foul as ball veers away from him

Verdict – 6On what must have been one of the most nervous moments of his life he couldn’t have been more assured coming on with England controlling the game with a 3-0 lead. He was sent on to see out the game and he did what he’s done season: keeping it simple and effective. While the game was quite comfortable for him he did what he needed to do by being involved in midfield play and making tackles. He certainly looked the part in what is a very exciting national team. May this be the first of many games in an England shirt, well done Rice we are all proud of how far you have come.
