Report: Declan Rice snubs Manchester United

|

Declan Rice has told pals he’d prefer to stay in London and has no interest in joining Manchester United according to the Daily Mirror.

The Manchester club have been linked with Rice since the West Ham and England midfielder emerged into the first team with the Hammers as an 18-year-old.

A source close to the player allegedly told the Mirror: “Dec has been flattered by interest in him but he doesn’t see himself moving to Manchester. It’s obvious where he’d like his next move to be.”

There is so much speculation around Declan Rice and his possible move to Chelsea despite any real substance to back up the claims.

The Hammers insist their star player is not for sale, there have been no inquiries or bids and yet these stories seem to appear almost daily in the tabloids.

Claret and Hugh’s own sources close to the player dispute that he wants to move to Chelsea, he is said to be very happy at West Ham, he loves the club and is grateful for the opportunities given to him and is in no hurry to move this year.

This evening ‘Indykaila News’ who is followed by 319,000 followers on Twitter and claims to be in the know posted that a Rice bid has been submitted by Chelsea. Sorry but that is simply not true! Nothing to see here, move along!

I suggest GBS should give the manager a 3yr+ contract which would help Dec make a long term decision. Lampard needs to get some results or he could be sacked. The next 3 games we have a good chance of picking up 5-9pts with teams above us playing each other we could move further up the table. If we can finish 8th or above Declan may be tempted to stay

The Declan Rice bicycle chain keeps turning around despite all . If Declan wants to get on his bike he should be honest and say so ,,, if not he should jump off the saddle and plant his feet firmly at the LS and tell us so . I’m all for one trying to improve his career , but there is no better opportunity than a resurgent West Ham United under DM . We have had enough of losing our good players to supposedly bigger clubs that leave us depleted and unable to compete and grow . Time to call a halt . If Declan wants to be remembered as a great player he can achieve that at West Ham . We are a growing force in the Premiership and I hope in all sincerity that Declan will play a massive part in that . Please don’t do a Lampard , Carrick , Defoe and others & turn your back on the massive West Ham support you have .
