A top agent has hit out at the Moyes management team

A top agent  has hit out at the Moyes management team for what he considers their ungrateful attitude after he convinced Lucas Paqueta to join the Hammers. Barry Silkman not only  brought in the Hammers best player but also  Tomas Soucek to the London Stadium but claims not to have received a word of gratitude from anyone on the Moyes team for completing the work they were unable to finish. Claret and Hugh reported back in March that this had been the case @Moyes believe massive deal is paying off – West Ham News: (claretandhugh.info).

Paqueta – despite being wanted by various clubs and although we were in for the midfielder – there was no sign of us getting him from Lyon until Silks was called in by David Sullivan the hope he would work some magic. And indeed he did  so within a few days and can take full credit for doing a deal which was beginning to look impossible. Ok, so he picked up a nice fee for making it happen but one would might have expected a private word of thanks and handshake from somebody on the management team. According to Silks it never happened

Writing on Facebook he said:“With Lucas Paqueta when I brought him to West Ham. He is without doubt by far the best player they have. It’s so sad you know not one person in the management team have ever said Silky you did a great job getting him here. Not one word ever. I also took Tomas Soucek there as well. Both deals were very, very difficult for different reasons and I can say with my hand on my heart no one at West Ham would have got either over the line. Never had a well done Silks for Thomas either . Good to be appreciated.
