Tammy Abraham’s future at AS Roma still remains unclear, despite ongoing speculation from Fabrizio Romano linking him with a move to West Ham United.
The English striker has struggled for consistent playing time since suffering a serious knee injury, and a change of scenery could be beneficial for his career. However, Roma’s valuation of the player has so far deterred potential suitors.
West Ham’s interest in Abraham is understandable, given their need for additional firepower in attack. The addition of the former Chelsea striker would significantly strengthen the Hammers’ squad and provide competition for Niclas Fullkrug.
However, the club’s focus may now shift to other transfer targets, as the window begins to close. With the transfer deadline approaching, West Ham may need to explore alternative options to bolster their attacking options.
The situation surrounding Abraham is likely to remain fluid until the end of the transfer window. If Roma soften their stance on the player’s valuation, West Ham could reignite their interest in the English striker.
Agree we need another striker but it’s a bit of a gamble considering Abrahams injury record of late. Obviously he is a good player if he stays fit but can we afford to take that risk
But I thought we had spent our transfer allocation.
It would be good to see Abrahams at West Ham regardless of the injury problems. I am sure the physio’s would work their magic.
Abrahams feels like an Andy Carroll re-run given his injury record and availability. Personally the proof that Duran is worth what Villa are asking for was evident yesterday. That would be my choice.
The physios haven’t done so well with Zouma .
You have to have something half reasonable before trying to fix it.
Physios are good but they are not miracle workers.
Shouyhave bought szmodics 10m the tractor boys paid westham fan too a snip!
Loan only if anything. A ‘change of scenery’ isn’t going to help if he hasn’t fully recovered.
