West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic briefs the media this morning ahead of the last Saturday home game at the Boleyn Ground tomorrow.
West Ham face Swansea City who are 13th in the league on 43 points. The reverse fixture finished 0-0 last December.
“We’ve got one player injured and that’s Adrian. He felt his calf in the Watford game and it’s a minor injury so he’s out tomorrow. We’ve got a great deputy in Randolph. He’s one of the biggest reasons we went far in the FA Cup and we are happy to have him.”
“With three games to go we are happy to be in contention for a European place whether we are talking top four or top six. We need to be at the top of our game in the last three matches to collect as many points as possible to keep that gap”
“We need to be totally focused on Swansea, not thinking about Man Utd, not thinking about the last game at the Boleyn Ground. Swansea, Swansea, Swansea. Thinking only about that.”
“It is important that we have two games left at home. We are proud to have a good home record and we haven’t lost here since August. We have a great crowd and it is an advantage for us, of course, to have two out of three games at Upton Park.”
“Swansea are safe now mathematically. When teams play without that negative football they can produce their best football”
No problems there,Randy will come in & perform well as usual I’m sure.
Same as Randolf is on par at the moment with Adrien so no problem,Speigle is a fine back up on the bench he has been in good form as well,
When Swansea have 4 of their best players missing and being at home and on form we should pick up the 3 points
If I am honest, I would pick Randy over Adrian at the moment. Randy catches the ball better than Adrian. Adrian has a habit of punching it out more. Even though I am an Adrian fan giving Randy some league games shows we value him such as much as Adrian. They are equally as good and we need to keep both of them.
No Arguments from me Sean
I’m still an Adrian fan.If I had a choice he would remain my No.1.Randolph is a fine keeper but I have a bit of a soft, loyal spot for Adrian.
