Just when you thought that transfer deadline day couldn’t get any crazier, a NINTH club has approached West Ham to sign defender Nayef Aguerd.
Why anyone would wait until the last minutes of the transfer window to try and buy a player who has been available at a low price for the last three weeks is anyone’s guess, but it now seems that the Moroccan’s exit from the Hammers is gathering pace.
Real Sociedad are believed to be the club in advanced talks to sign Aguerd, following an earlier move from Fiorentina that was supposedly rejected by the player.
If the centre-back does leave, it would mean that the Hammers have offloaded every player they wanted to, with the exception of Danny Ings, which is incredible.
