Agent breaks silence on West Ham approach

Youssef En-Nesyri’s agent has broken silence to confirm his client is staying at Sevilla

The agent said “A few days ago a PL club called. They asked what was Youssef’s situation. I told them that it didn’t matter, that Youssef didn’t want to leave. They insisted and told me if they could offer something. I explained the situation. Youssef is very happy in Seville”

His comments follow similar statements from the player himself on his desire to stay at Sevilla.

The striker scored a superb hat-trick at the weekend, as Sevilla beat Cadiz 3-0 to move third in La Liga, and fresh from that performance, he insisted he would not be leaving in the January transfer window!

David Moyes previously confirmed West Ham made a bid for En-Nesyri reported to have been £27m with add-ons.

Reports suggested the club wanted at least £35m but it now appears the agent has asked his client to stay put until at least the summer before he makes his big move.

West Ham have since moved on to other targets including the possibility of a loan for South Korean striker Hwang Hee-Chan from RB Leipzig before the winter transfer window shuts in six days time.

  1. I would of taken En-Nesyri over the summer before he has had his best goal return ever bc his height pace & work rate plus experience for age. But even at £35m the manager didn’t want him to go & he has UCL final 16 so I can’t blame.him for not wanting to leave and come here especially in January with BVB Champions league coming up. And he hot another hat trick now 16 goals in all apps.
But I we heard first Dia was Moye’s first choice & similar to En-Nesyri this is his best goal return season but unlike him he took a harder route up was Electrian while going on trail before Reims picked him up in 18/19. He had 8 goals last season which isn’t bad for 2nd season that was cut short has 26-27 in 59 games. Very much the type of player I thought Moyes would like bc worked his way up though not in English league a lot of times you see that give players more hunger & workrate bc haven’t had that big money since teenager.
I trust Moyes but I don’t see Yarmo as our striker in PL agaisnt Doncaster yes bc we have possession he doesn’t have pace do play like Mikey. Not saying we should spend huge & I like Han from RB Leipzig if we can get not prolific has suffered from Covid when he moved but is fast hard working striker. But confusing part if Moyes does want Dia he was 1st or even 2nd choice we offered £8.9m they want £12m but we don’t think he is experienced enough? That confuses me of true bc that’s a loan fee & where saving that in Felipe’s wages staying at Porto not to mention Snodgrass too. He wouldn’t require huge wages £40-50k would get him.
We should pay £100k plus for players washes anyway like that imo let them prove themselves first like Souček give him a new deal. Wages add up very fast & make it hard to shift, off point now but I was surprised that Bowen wen tip to £96k after 30 games thats slot he was on £60k. Rice & Souček should get new deals along with Moyes…
Why are we putting off Moye’s deal? In his statement after great Palace win he said I want to manage a club who is at the top & I want the opportunity to grow a club….. Where a month ago he said I want “us” to get better scouting system ‘we’ are behind most clubs West ham not generic club….
I wouldn’t be surprised if clubs were looking at him especially like a Celtic which I’d image he has ties too. Anyway cover a few things I just find odd.
Last one I like Lingard I do but is best position is AM where Benrahma plays who a number are sharing we will make perm for him or RW maybe he can play CM more he does work. But loan with option be best id definitely prefer a more B2B cm.
