Agent McKay reveals Sakho’s feelings

|

SakhoFootball agent Mark McKay has confirmed West Ham forward Diafra Sakho is seeking assurances over his future at the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports News today Mckay said “He has had conversations with people at West Ham and he wants to know where his future lies. He wants to start pre-season where he wants to be playing,”

“West Ham are looking for that top, top striker and Diafra is a bit concerned, that once they find that striker, what his place in the team is going to be.

” If he gets those assurances from West Ham, I am sure he’ll be happy to stay there, but otherwise he may be looking elsewhere.”

“I think if you look at Diafra, he is a victim of the success West Ham have had. Now they are going to the Olympic Stadium, they want to kick on and he may just be left behind, he’s not that star name they are looking for maybe.

“So, we’ll wait and see on that. It’s up in the air at the moment. He’s a West Ham player as it stands until David Sullivan and Slaven Bilic turn round and say differently.”

You would think he would show some gratitude that we plucked him from lower league French football and gave him his chance in the best league in the world. We are moving up a level now and sakho will go down the pecking order if he doesn’t knuckle down and fight for his place. clearly sakho doesn’t want to do that though. He wants to be a big fish in a small pond and if that’s the case then perhaps he should go and play for Sunderland.

I agree…just like WH fan 32 above…As we will be in Europe, we will need a big squad. Sak would get plenty of opportunity…he’s HAD plenty of opportunity, and has indeed scored some important goals…(e.g. 1st goal v Man U last game of season). He should be pretty happy. Maybe the real reason is money? I’m sick of his surly ingratitude…

He has an attitude problem that much is clear, he should improve his performances and finishing rather than complain about the if’s and but’s of whatever will happen next season. If he scores goals then allied to his work rate he will be successful if he doesn’t he would be better off with Sam at Sunderland, he likes a striker that puts in 100% and only scores a goal every 4 or 5 games.

You said it all! If he is not in the team, then who’s fault is that? Compared to Antonio, his attitude sucks. He was out injured big time (are WHU responsible for THAT??) and when he came back, in fact he got lots of opportunities in the team. His ungrateful moodiness is beginning to annoy the hell out of me… I don’t think he is a true team player; he even said as much to the academy players…(Maybe, he is not happy with the money??…)

I think he should stay , carol , sakho , and a new bloke would give us a great selection for different scenarios ! Let Valencia go if he wants to , lovely player but can’t stay on his feet due to his strength / size ,its Slavs prob anyway , I’m sure he will do what’s best for his plans and for club .

we need 4 quality strikers and i’d be happy if sakho is one of them. i just wish he would stay and prove again to everyone that he is the real deal……..

He will get no more assurances at Sunderland with Borini all ready warming the bench,
He must fight for his place at the moment he has the driving seat,
We need assurances he is going to be ago boy and play football,
No one wants him to leave but he needs to show some back bone and put away his chances,
Come on Sak it works both ways,we have stood by you upped your wages within months of you joining us the fans have shown you lots of love now repay us with some honest football and effort
