Agent Lingard spoils Champions League result

Cristiano Ronaldo predictably scored on his Champions League return for Manchester United but it was not enough as Young Boys struck in stoppage-time to cap a remarkable comeback win thanks largely to former Hammer Jesse Lingard who made an awful mistake.

Manchester United played for almost an hour with 10 men after Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s dangerous challenge on Christopher Martins earned the defender a straight red card.

They looked set to hang on for a point in an entertaining match after Cameroon winger Moumi Ngamaleu’s equaliser but a mistake by substitute Jesse Lingard who played an absolutely horrendous backpass that Jordan Siebatcheu cuts out and slots beyond the onrushing David de Gea.
Lingard won’t want to watch that again on a replay any time soon.
The 28-year-old is et to return to the London Stadium on Sunday asĀ  Manchester United visit, lets hope he gets a warm welcome from West Ham fans and maybe agent Lingard can strike again to help us out.
