West Ham have been offered the chance to sign left-back Junior Firpo from Barcelona in this transfer window, according to CalcioNapoli24, via Sport Witness.
The report claims that Firpo is set to be offloaded by the Catalan giants and that his representative has been in talks with a number of clubs.
That includes Napoli, explaining the source of the article, but they also claim that West Ham have been contacted and given the opportunity to make a move for the 24-year-old.
Firpo’s agent has made the offer but the Hammers are yet to give an answer as David Moyes weighs up various options after claiming to have made bids which weren’t accepted.
The report states he would rather move to England than Italy but it remains to be seen if the Irons actually hold an interest.
Firpo has made just four appearances in La Liga this season and has played just 33 times for the club since 2019.
