Aguerd’s future under Hammers microscope
Nayef Aguerd’s future maybe under the Hammers microscope.
News that he is unlikely for the game at Arsenal is not good bearing in mind that he is believed to have recovered reasonably well from the flu bug affecting the squad.
Aguerd’s future under Hammers microscope
It is to be hoped that he is not saving himself for Afcon and his involvement with Morocco in January.
Aguerd has not been the greatest signing of the David Moyes spell having shown himself to be pretty inconsistent at times and there is also speculation in the European media that he could be of interest to Lyon and one of two other Ligue One clubs.
With Konstantsos Mavropanos proving a more than adequate deputy to him it could well be the Irons will be ready to allow the 27 year old to move on.
He still has three and a half years left on his five year contract and having cost around £30 million the club would probably be happy to accept something close to that figure should there be interest.
We were told yesterday that the player is recovering from flu and it now remains to be seen whether he will make himself available for the games at Arsenal and Brighton early in the New Year before he makes his way to Afcon.
Should he remain on the side lines for those two Premier League games and become available for Afcon one or two foreheads could be creased within the corridors of power!
Football is all about opinions so i hope you dont mind if i completely disagree that Dinos has proved himself to be a more than adequate replacement. In my opinion Dinos is no where near the level of aguerd and he will never start an important game ahead of aguerd.
