All change for Rapid as Moyes names team

Soucek keeps his place

David Moyes has made eight changes as the squad bid to top their group in Vienna tonight (Thurs).

Sadly the match will be played behind closed doors as a result of the nation’s lockdown and it could be a tough clash as Rapid attempt top stay alive on the competition.

Mark Noble returns to captain the team and the other sevem changes are all pretty predictable with Arthur Masuaka getting a rare chance.

Just Craig Dawson, Tomáš Souček and Jarrod Bowen remain in the side from the weekend defeat at Molineux.

Alphonse Areola, Vladimír Coufal, Issa Diop, Arthur Masuaku, captain Mark Noble, Manuel Lanzini, Nikola Vlašić and Andriy Yarmolenko are all included.

As the manager confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday evening, Łukasz Fabiański and Michail Antonio are being rested and have remained in London, while Ben Johnson, Aaron Cresswell, Kurt Zouma, Pablo Fornals, Declan Rice and Saïd Benrahma are named on the substitutes’ bench.

West Ham United: Areola, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Masuaku, Noble ©️, Soucek, Lanzini, Vlasic, Yarmolenko, Bowen
