Allardyce is a better manager than Wenger

SamA

Sam Allardyce is a better manager than Arsne Wenger according to former Hull manager Phil Brown, who remains good friends with West Ham manager since their days at Bolton.

Speaking on BBC 5LIVE radio, Brown, who is currently manager of League Two side Southend United, claimed Allardyce was under-rated, and suggested he was better at his job than his Arsenal counterpart.

He said: “Sam is no coach – he’s more sophisticated”

“He’s a statistical genius. As good as Arsene Wenger, if not better.”

  1. when u win something then you can compare

  2. Brown, how much money did you get from BFS to say this idiocy?

  3. After that insane team selection yesterday to go with all the others…this guy has to be kidding.
What the hell was Carroll doing on the bench anyway, after picking up an injury just a few days earlier, while at the same time Sam puts out a three man strike force.
Only Sam’s absolute determination to make sure Andy stays as his No: 1 striker could explain this.
Now he’s stuck with having to play the Sakho/Valencia partnership (or will he have the gall to put CC out there?)

    • We got an away draw at the third from top Saints, and isn’t the Sakho,Valencia partnership, the two all want to see. C.O.Y.I.

  4. Wow send in the men in white coats to take Phil Brown to his lovely new padded cell

  5. Great comments gentlemen.Brown has to be smoking something?

    • Whatever he smokes he has it right. We are eighth in the league with no dodgy relegation battle ahead,we are still in the FA cup,and why, because this is the first season Sam has had real cash to spend.Come on now we have never been a top six side,i think younger Irons need that info.Once we finished third Once, three FA cup wins in 119 years. If all you want is cups support Man City.If its cameraderie, hope, guts, passion, dtermination, and a little glory, then get behind Whoever is in charge.Things are looking up under Sam let us not forget or regret that fact. C.O.Y.I.
