Allardyce issues Chelsea challenge

sam_allardyce_2093173cSam Allardyce has challenged the Irons to hit top form against Chelsea at Upton park tomorrow night.

Putting the misery of Crystal palace behind him, he said: “We look forward to Chelsea now and it’s the third derby in a row.

“We have to get back to the level of the Tottenham performance to help us try to get a result against the best team in the Premier League at the moment.

“Jose’s teams rarely slip up and that’s why they’re so good. The demand from Chelsea Football Club to the players is that they’re not allowed to be off form. I expect them to be efficient in every department and that’s why they’re top of the league.

“They rarely make mistakes and that makes it difficult to score against them. For me it’s about the players playing their best and hopefully on the day that can help us get the result.”

Allardyce also confirmed that he has no fresh injury concerns as his side bid to re-enter the European reckoning.

  1. I Challenge BFS to entertain me and I don’t mean belly dancing,( throw up ) and even get us a result, lead from the front don’t just put it on the players.
If you do I will back you if you don’t GO NOW

  2. I challenge the players too.Put in a real showing before you go off on your jolly. Bet Allardyce can’t get them going , they are already on holiday looking at Palace.Bad form by the Davids in spoiling BFS to another in season holiday at the fans expense.

  3. He has to go to Dubai to get his gold coated chewing gum, only place that sells it 😀
