Allardyce rues ‘gift goals’ and injuries

|

sam-allardyceWest Ham boss Sam Allardyce has blamed gifted goals and injuries for the team’s continuing losing woes!

He gave his overview of the match against Manchester City immediately following the whistle declaring: “We gifted them the two goals and you really can’t do that to a team like City.

“There was a poor piece of possession for the second goal which handed it back to them but had Enner Valencia or Kevin Nolan scored with one of their chances we may have worried them.

Manchester City haven’t lost that much at home but you can’t make mistakes and expect to get anything from the match.

“We are not in the mood we were at the start of the season where scoring goals in concerned and the hardest thing is overcoming injuries.

“There’s no James Tomkins, Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and Guy Demel went down with an injury yesterday!

We have five games left and our target is 50 points or better.”

When the fatman says : “We gifted them the two goals and you really can’t do that to a team like City.” One time again he shifts the blame on the players.

Easiest thing for the press to do is just take one of Samasaurus post matchers from January & replay that. Its been the same sh*t every week since then.

It t was a huge blow losing Demel. He would have made all the difference! What a joke.

A more accurate statement would have been,

Manchester City haven’t lost that much at home but you can’t set up the way I do and expect to get anything from the match.

“We are not playing the same way we were at the start of the season where scoring goals in concerned and the hardest thing is overcoming my pigheadedness.

“There’s no Zarate and there’s no way I’m bringing the best players off the bench when my mates need a run out instead.

5 games & counting, pls, pls chairmen let this regime come to an end.We deserve better than 2 wins in 16,its painful to be a supporter at the moment. The performances are just getting more & more dismal.

So unbelievably predicable. What is wrong with the man, has he no pride, does he not want another club after us, Reading took the Gooners to extra time yesterday, we couldn’t take city to half time today. No heart, no passion , no pride.
The real concern is, apart from Sahko (and Demel of course !!!!) this was arguably our strongest side that started. Doesn’t bode well for enticing someone like Kloop OS park or not.

I am sick of this man,his excuses, his ego,his inablity to take responsibility.Seeing him slumped in his seat when we were 1-0 down, totally & utterly f*cking uninterested was the straw that broke my camels back 😉

I concur with what has been written to date. By chance, has anyone kept a note of our possession percentages (BBC) since the beginning of December? My memory is telling me that it has to be in the mid- to late-30s … and you can’t win if you don’t have the ball. Also, the BFS logic (week in, week out) is that we are not getting points because we are giving away silly goals; but WE ARE NOT SCORING THEM either, you dinosaur, so we will never win anyway. This man is conning the good, honest fans. He deserves no sympathy. If he isn’t shoved out of the door at the end of this season, then all fans must refuse to buy season tickets. Power to the people!

I can’t see where the next point is coming from QPR, Burnley & Newcastle are fighting for their lives and Aston Villa & Everton have hit a bit of form whereas West Ham have already gone on their summer holidays!

Are the bloody owners going to do something or allow the team to implode?Loyalty at what price?Loyalty to a manager who has only ever been loyal to his own ego and selfish values? Rugby and all the others are right.Enough is enough. What player in his right mind would contemplate coming to WHU?Five more weeks of sliding as I see it.
