Allardyce to give FA Cup a real go!

|

The_FA_Cup_TrophySam Allardyce is ready to give the FA Cup a right go this season and remains unapologetic over last season’s Nottingham Forest farce.

The manager will name his best  team for Sunday’s fourth-round trip to Bristol City and said: “Because our position in the League is very secure this season, it gives us a great opportunity to focus on Bristol City and making sure we get through.

“Unlike last year, I don’t have to consider resting players to save them for the Premier League.

“We can have a real go at the FA Cup. We have come through the hardest part of the season and we are also doing well in terms of steering clear of injuries.

“And that gives us a real chance to go forward in both the Premier League and the FA Cup this time.”

Astonishing and sad that this is even a headline. Yes, I’m one of those that still remembers the FA Cup as special.

Really looking forward to the game on Sunday. COYI!
