The amazing Hammers under-21s made it 16 games unbeaten but had top come from behind to do it against Crystal Palace last night.

They then went on, remarkably , to beat the south Londoners 5-1 and record their seventh Premier League 2 win of the season at the VBS Stadium.

Having gone behind to a  Jack Wells-Morrison  penalty on 22 minutes the lads responded big time after the break as they headed into that seventh win of the campaign

Kaelan Casey headed home a  corner to start the comeback, before Callum Marshall put the Hammers ahead from the penalty spot with his 16th PL2 goal of the season.

Next the highly impressive George Earthy found the bottom corner and completed the Hammers’ third goal in just seven second-half minutes.

Palace were reduced to ten men when Wells-Morrison was then sent off for dissent after the hour before Conor Coventry struck a stunning fourth from distance with a first-time effort.

Marshall then created West Ham’s fifth late on as a stunning break left Gideon Kodua with a tap-in.

The U21s moved 16 games unbeaten in all competitions and sit second in Premier League.
