Amazing response to CandH flag appeal

|

stadiumA huge thank you to all those who have donated to the massive  ClaretandHugh flag which will take a place of honour in the London Stadium.

It will be 24ft by 12ft and thus far is the biggest approved by the operator and club.

We are amazed that our supporters should rally to the cause so quickly as having launched the £535 appeal at 9pm on Thursday evening, every penny had been raised by 11 am today (Fri).

That’s a pretty astonishing response by anyone’s standards and we are thrilled and humbled that you so approve of your favourite site that you will dig deep to ensure our presence is felt at the club’s new home.

We have never made any sort of cash appeal previously but wanted to give  readers the chance to become founder members and sponsors of the flag which will become a permanent presence at the stadium on match days.

Those who contributed £20 or more will have their names sewn into the flag for posterity!

That’s one for the gullible. Founder members of a flag??
If it blocks my view I’ll be tearing a hole in it.

can c&h tell us how much they put in for their flag and will they have their name as a founder member too?

Can someone please tell me why we have such miserable *******s as fans who only ever want to moan on our sites like the two above?!?!?!?

  • When we announced it fans said they would like to pay a tenner or so and asked for their names to be sewn in which they will be. Sean and myself put in the first 100. Not that it is any way relevant for your purposes

Lmao!! There are some grumpy buggers about ain’t there? Just as well the donation by Hugh & Sean has been revealed otherwise Punchy would’ve demanded a freedom of information request in 25 years time. Anyhow glad by name will be sewn in.

Thats what happens when you have nothing better to do than sit on blogs all the time finding things to whine about.
