Anderson gets major form incentive

Felipe Anderson’s form has caught the eye of his Brazlian national team boss!

But whether the Hammers star is quite ready for an international call up is a question which would probably receive a mixed reception even from us fans.

It appears that his international team manager Tite was at the London Stadium on Friday night to take a look at him against Fulham and probably went away with the same sort of mixed feelings.

The £35 million signing can be brilliant on his day but on Friday recorded only 6.42 in the CandH ratings from the fans.

However, there can be little question that the return of Manu Lanzini is going to work big time in his favour with the pair of them sharing the creative responsibilities.

It’s good however that the move to the club has shot him into the international spotlight after suffering a very inconsistent season at Lazio before his arrival in east London.

Speaking to www.whufc.com Felipe said: “I didn’t know [that representatives of the Brazilian National Team were in the stadium on Friday], as I always say, it’s one of my main goals to go back to the National Team but I was very focused.

I want to get back there but to do so I know I need to give my all to the team and that’s what really matters.

“If I’m taken into account that gives me even more confidence to play my best football and if I keep on working I’m sure I’m going to be called up eventually.”
