West Ham chairman, David Gold says Andy Carroll should be back next week but doesn’t say whether it will be Tuesday night for the Aston Villa home game under the lights or the rescheduled Southampton away on Saturday 6th February at 5.30pm at St Mary’s.
He also confirms that Diafra Sako and Manuel Lanzini will be back the following week. Again he doesn’t hint which game but we face Liverpool again in a replay at the Boleyn ground under the lights on Tuesday 9th February with 7.45pm kick off. Or it could be that Sako and Lanzini will not be ready until the Norwich away game on the 13th February but either way, it is an exciting prospect to have the trio all fit again very soon. A game like yesterday was crying for an Andy Carroll off the bench as a plan B.
Gold tweeted “We are hoping for Andy Carroll to return next week and Diafra Sakho and Manuel Lanzini the following week. Not to shabby dg“
Be nice to get Carroll back for a game or two….
Why do nearly all ref`s have sight problems when it comes to West Ham.Be it not seeing blatent penalties or missing stamps and elbows [ala Foulaini] etc. Yet whenever we mention it we are called whingers.
The simple answer to that mooro is that they are bias and cheats !!dyke is leaving next year cos he can’t change the old school dictatorship dominance on the board ! It needs a clear out but as we know with people in power they have the power to veto anything they desire ,
Its called national socialism controlled by capitalists . Tories , labour , lib dem , democrats and republicans . Are all the same , they all hide behind laws made by themselves ! To cheat and prosper .
Yes bubs , me thinks that Atkinson doesn’t miss the 2 handballs if it was in our area ?.
Proven arrogant ref , poor in actual fact . Far to many northern refs in the prem !!!
Carol would have had a field day last night. If the midfield was on blob , he definitely would have put winners header away , still its looking good with players coming back and the scousers won’t be looking forward to it , I hope clipperty plays the same team ?
Great news for the Liverpoor return match, maybe a spot on the bench next week and 20 mins playing time and again half a match against the Saints
Then turn film loose against Chulker the well known hand ball player and Studs Loven it would be great for him to have a easy match against those 2 and score some goals to start a run,but having Lanzini back as a foil for Payet will be brilliant
