Another Hammer on the move

By Sean Whetstone

Aberdeen are reportedly closing in on bringing West Ham’s head of recruitment analysis Jordan Miles according to Aberdeen Live.

And Sky Sports adds that the club will appoint the  Hammers man to a similar role amid the ongoing transfer window

The analyst has been at West Ham for over seven  years and before that Miles was Head of Performance Analysis at Ipswich for five years.

Miles started his career in 2010 doing an Internship as an Academy Performance Analyst at Derby County Football Club.

All remains quiet on the fate of Head of Recruitment Rob Newman who was not mentioned in the statement announcing new Technical director Tim Steidten.

Newman joined from Manchester City last summer but the club are being tight lipped over his contractual situation.

Miles potential departure is the latest sign of a shake up in the recruitment and analysis department since the arrival of the new technical director.
