Nou Camp Wonderkid On West Ham’s Loan Radar

Chasing a former Manchester United target – reportedly worth a staggering bid of £83.5 million not so long ago – from the Nou Camp seems hardly likely for West Ham this January. However, this former young superstar who was once described as  ‘Messi’s successor’ has fallen far from his original lofty hype, through both loss of form and injury -and so might well be within West Ham’s reach.

With a career that has largely petered out, as a potential January loan signing, the Spanish / Guinea Bissau youngster even at the ripe old age of 22 might have huge motivation to relaunch a career away from the cauldron that is Barca FC.

Ansu Fati, linked by Caught Offside today is another seemingly unlikely West Ham target. However, the article entitled ‘Potter revolution set to continue as Barcelona ace primed for West Ham move’ does claim the tarnished starlet might be an option being considered at London stadium!

Dodgy injuries means the youngster could be worth a punt as a loan with an option-to-buy at a ‘steal’: with his paltry value at €10 million thanks to those injuries and a drop in his form.

It seems as though everyone available in January has the same chequered history within West Ham’s Matalan budget: “Beggars can’t be choosers’ so a decent, fit, strong successful striker is simply not available at West Ham prices without an element of risk. Double checked through Spanish news provider sport.es:

Ansu has a contract until 2027 and Barça is aware that the only way out immediately is with the formula of a six-month assignment. Although his experience in Brighton was not very positive, Premier League clubs do not lose sight of him, especially those who are in a bad situation and lack of strikers. In this sense, West Ham and Tottenham have been interested in the footballer.”

A punt is all it is with Fati but that can’t be the end another established striker needs to come with him.
How many times do you see descriptive words like ‘whizz kid’, ‘Super stars’ and they never perform.
Some people never learn with Moyes looking at 36 year old William to get Everton out of the mire.

quality forward..all these silly story’s will drag on til last few days and we’ll end up getting another bargain basement ings …again they have had loads of time ..like the post gonzo put up yesterday..they do have money. A buffer if vir correct..I know they have to be careful..but this is desperate now ….ffs pull your fingers out and get a solid budvin for a decent forward….loan Duran with option to buy ..its definitely doable but they just change every day …how many forwards have we been linked to now …a few every day on here..99% of wich won’t happen so what’s the point in writing it …I said before would rather have fewer posts and only ones that our sources at the club tell us have a goid chance of happening….we can’t keep relying on luck in games..WE NEED AT LEAST ONE FORWARD we needed one when Antonio went now fulkirg is out then obviously it needs addressing now even 2 if we can get rid of ings …imo ….sorry but haven’t villa just bought another forward

We have shipped far too many goals this season, so 2 defenders is a must.
