Michail Antonio has admitted the constant media headlines around the club can be distracting to players.
Antonio told the Sun newspaper: “There’s always another story. If not the board, it is a player or the stadium. It’s very frustrating. We all want to turn up to work and not have the hassle of people asking what’s going on? It’s part of West Ham life now, you have just got to move with it.”
However, David Moyes told reporters post-match after the Brighton defeat that the latest racism row with Tony Henry was not affecting his players in his opinion. “No effect (on the players’ performance) what so ever, the club have done what they believe they have to do and moved on. We have to (draw a line under it) and move on completely from it”
Very true I agree w Antonio on not singing sack Board at games bc that doesn’t help out team.
If if I would likve them to go they won’t & don’t even own stadium best can hope like I said is hire professional board & director & they take a back seat.
But with all these Noise of board Henry etc can’t be helping players. Kouyate was very good last 3 games then looked lethargic again.
So this mess isn’t helping them.& I’m all for right for protest but at games best to support are players.
BC we are in a relegation battle & we need them focused & know they have Fans behind them
