Antonio drops Moyes an ‘I’m ready’ hint

|

Mikey Antonio appeared to be dropping a hint to David Moyes that he’s ready for action against Southampton at St Mary’s tomorrow following the 90 minutes against Brighton yesterday.

With Seb Haller again pretty anonymous neither Moyes or anyone else can wait to see the big fella back.

And it won’t have escaped anybody’s attention that when he and the Frenchman played up front TOGETHER last season we won the game 1-0 after successive defeats against Wolves and Arsenal with Haller scoring the goal

Mikey has been training with the squad and running on grass in training and after yesterdau’s 2-2 draw a journalist present at the game told us that the centre forward was on the pitch with the subs during their warming down process.

That’s a promising sign that he feels ready for some sort of involvement tomorrow and possibly an indication that he will be on the bench.

The manager heads into the game with no fresh injury worries following the 2-2 draw against Brighton.

A well run club would have a 3rd striker ready to come in on Jan 4th.

    I bet we don’t.

Agree Master, Josh King or the Slavia striker Sima preferably both should be signed sealed and delivered. The likes of Wolves, Leicester, Villa and Everton all have better recruitment policies than we do and will leave us behind if we are not careful.
