Antonio gives hamstring update

HammyMichail Antonio has sent his followers an update on social media on his recovery from a hamstring operation in May.

Posting on his personal Instagram account Michail posted a message saying: “Another session done hammy is coming on well.  Not long now. Rehab, Man on a mission, Dom Rogan.”

The reference to Dominic Rogan is West Ham’s Senior Sports Physiotherapist & Structural Integrator who previously worked for Everton.

Former Hammer Ashley Fletcher asked “Who’s leg is this? I’m confused” as the accompanying photo appeared to be the wrong skin colour and a photo of an arm rather than a leg. Michail replied “It’s yours”

Earlier this week Slaven Bilic revealed Michail Antonio is ahead of schedule as he recovers from hamstring surgery and could return for the second game of the Premier League season – away at Southampton.

The 27-year-old signed a new four-year deal at West Ham in May to commit his future to the Hammers.
