Antonio keeps his mouth shut

Michail Antonio is keeping his mouth shut  – a man unready to make the same mistake twice!

The last time he went into the prediction game he couldn’t have got it more wrong when claiming we could not only beat Liverpool at Anfield ( we were beaten 3-1) but that we would finish above them in he league this season which continues to look very unlikely.

He was talking on the highly entertaining  Footballers Football podcast show and took enormous stick from his mate and colleague on the show, Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson, as a result.

So as we head for Villa for a critical game he is keeping quiet and to put it in his words he is remaining humble and giving no verdict on the game.

Mikey is set to play up front on Sunday afternoon in a game which can be seen on Sky TV following his treatment for an adductor issue from which he is claimed to have recovered.

He said on the latest show with Wilson: “We’ve got Villa away so a difficult game, obviously they’ve been on fire, but we’re doing well ourselves so I feel it should be alright.

“I ain’t going to say nothing so that I can be like Cal (Wilson) and try and put the fire out. I’m just going to stay humble and be like we’ll see, we’ll see what happens this weekend.”
