Antonio’s at it again!

The last time Michail Antonio predicted Liverpool would be usurped by West Ham it backfired on him in a big way.

Earlier in the season he made it clear that he believed we would finish higher than the Reds at the end of the season. There’re are optimists and then there are supreme optimists.

It’s not going to happen of course but that didn’t stop him insisting despite howls of protest from his mate Callum Wilson on the pair’s podcast.

Now Mikey is at it again, this time claiming there can only be one result on the other side of Liverpool at Goodison Park tomorrow afternoon when we meet Everton. We can only hope it’s not another kiss of death.

Talking on BBC’s The Players channel podcast, Michail Antonio cannot see anything apart from three points for the away side.

He said: “Every time we have played them it’s always been a difficult game. Under Sean Dyche, he is very rigid and hardly concedes any goals.

The 33-year-old believes the return of Lucas Paqueta will have a big impact on David Moyes’ side.

He said: “I feel confident that the gaffer has his main team back, and when Lucas [Paqueta] has been in the team, we have won the majority of our games,” he added.

Off that, I can’t see nothing but three points.”
