The family of a West Ham season ticket holder are trying to get Hammers supporters to join in with 33rd-minute applause for Lily Harris this Saturday lunchtime at the London Stadium against Spurs.
The 33-year-old young lady who had a season ticket for twenty years suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and had a double lung transfer at the end of October after a long battle with her illness but she sadly passed away on the 5th November.
Lily’s fiancee Chris Westwood took to social media to say “So touched that West Ham fans are planning a minute’s applause in the 33rd minute of the Spurs game as a tribute to my gorgeous fiancée Lily Harris who died earlier this month. Thanks to Baz Cox, Mark Messingham & ExWHUemployee for making it possible. Lily would love it”
Why don’t the club put the photo up to encourage the response?
